Scholarship Application Opens December 20th
The Merrick Foundation will officially kick off the 2020 Scholarship season on Friday, December 20th. The online application will be live through February 1, 2020. “The scholarship process is such an incredible process to be a part of. One of the goals of the Board of Directors is to ensure every high school student who submits an application, is awarded a scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is based on a variety of variables, but the goal is to be able to help set each student up for success as they enter the next phase of their life,” states Shauna Graham, Executive Director.
In addition to high school students, college students are also eligible to apply. “We have several scholarships that are specifically designated for college students, so it’s important to remember to come back and apply after your freshman year of college,” states Graham.
“It is an honor to be a part of this process. We have an absolutely amazing group of donors who are helping to develop the future leaders of our county, state and nation. The memories and stories behind why each scholarship is created are humbling to hear about. We are extremely thankful for the trust they have placed in us to carry out this process.”
