Scholarship Awards Presentation Canceled
Each year the Merrick Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors, Staff and Scholarship Committee look forward to our annual Scholarship Awards Presentation. It’s a time when our donors have the ability to personally award their scholarship to the selected student as well as a time where they can talk for a few moments about the person or reason behind why the fund started. We are honored to meet so many talented young men and women each year who are passionate about starting their next phase in life.
COVID-19 has undoubtedly left its mark on 2020. After requesting feedback from the donors who make this possible, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Scholarship Awards Presentation for this year. While we are disappointed that we have to cancel, the safety and wellbeing of the students, our donors as well as our board and staff come first.
Within the coming weeks, we are planning to share the scholarship winners on our Facebook page. We hope you will find our page and share in the celebration of these students!
